Stepping out in Qld for the first time OZZIE PUNTA (9) faced an inside second line barrier where he was soon shuffled back and locked away. Finding gaps late and hitting the line strongly, the deficit was under 3m from the winner COTCHINELLIE. Despite the second line, he can secure the trip.AMAMI (11) can have a line out through the last placing at the most recent appearance, making an error soon after the field released. That was at standing start conditions which followed a tidy effort behind subsequent winner WHOS DELIGHT. Tempo will assist his closing challenge.MOONSHINER (8) will require some luck for open space at some stage as he looks in danger of being snookered.
