RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: JILLIBY WILLOW (9) will appreciate a massive drop back in class from her latest performances and is extremely well placed in this event. She finished unplaced in the Group 1 Queen of the Pacific last outing after unplaced efforts in the Make Mine Cullen and the Angelique. JILLIBY ILLUMINATE (7) is a speedy mare, which finished a narrow second behind the smart pacer Uniquely Ideal then followed with an unlucky fifth behind My Little Bo, where she was stranded out three horses wide from the extreme draw. She boasts a consistent record and should be finding the line strongly. ODIN (6) worked forward to find the lead and recorded a mile rate of 1.54.7 at Bendigo then followed with a fifth at Metropolitan level. He is a very quick beginner and should give a forward showing.
