RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: BYRNESIDE BOOM (10) was a winner here last week when able to lead from a favourable draw and prove too strong second-up. He goes to the backrow draw now which is no luxury and will need the right tempo, but his form is hard to ignore. MADAM REACTOR (4) hasn’t been racing that well, but is open to improvement in a suitable race where she may be able to cross to the top over the short trip. IAMAWINGATE (9) is always thereabouts in these types of races and gets an economical trip punching through from the backrow draw. WITCHITA KANSAS (11) is another off the backrow who will need the tempo to work in his favour but brings better credentials than much of the opposition.
