RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: ALDEBARAN BUDDY (5) has been racing well and looks close to returning to the winner’s circle. Two starts back at Bendigo he finished second and couldn’t quite reel in the experienced Black And Gold late. Last start he was stuck on the fence and raced keenly. James Herbertson takes the drive and he looks ready to win. MACHO MAORI (1) has been racing solidly and has the barrier to take advantage of here, with enough gate speed to hold a forward position. KENNYWOULD (8) hasn’t won for some time but is racing better than his form suggests and with luck can be competitive. KYVALLEY MISTY (10) has ability but her manners are often the issue.
