RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: ALDEBARAN BUDDY (4) didn’t have much luck here last week after being restrained at the start, with the race effectively over once he finally got clear. His form prior was solid, and with the right map and tempo he will be hard to beat. VAN DOREN (1) has been consistent over his past few starts and draws softly at a track he races well at. SAMMY HALLER (2) was quite good to the line last time and, with the right map, will be in the finish. RED KERMIT (6) didn’t really get into it first-up, but with added fitness and a better draw he comes into calculations. BACK: ALDEBARAN BUDDY (4) – 2 units (win)
