RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: EASTBRO MIKA (5) has been placed in four of her past six starts and should run her usual honest race. She finished strongly when second at Hamilton then trailed the leader throughout at her latest third. LORD VERDE (2) is a fast beginner and is racing at his peak form. He settled in a nice trailing position and finished off best to score in a slick mile of 1.56.8 at Charlton last outing and is one of the leading chances again. SWISS LIGHTNING (3) produced a huge performance when he was driven aggressively and scored in a career best mile rate of 1.55.5 on December 07. He has struggled in six unplaced efforts since but he will appreciate a drop back in class for this assignment so he cannot be dismissed.
