RACE COMMENT
The 1892m stand start makes it very hard for those not on speed to make ground up, so if DONE WELL (2) stepped and led like she did last time at Burnie, she would take some running down again. ONEOFTHELADS (5) is a very fast beginner and could cross from out wide but still may need to improve on his recent efforts. ANDAMAN BAY (3) has been consistent of late and looks to get his chance to break through again if was able to sit on speed. OBLER (7), CAN FEEL THE FURY (8) and SAPPHIRE GAMBLER (9) will be hoping to begin quickly and settle midfield at worst, which would enhance there chances, whilst TULLAH GIRL (1) didn’t time the start well last start when slowly away, but no reason she couldn’t be in the finish with a better start.Selections ANDAMAN BAY (3), DONE WELL (2), TULLAH GIRL (1), ONEOFTHELADS (5) Staking Strategy: ANDAMAN BAY (3) can land on speed over the shorter distance and get his chance. 2 unit win – ANDAMAN BAY (3)
