RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: DE BEAU ROCK (8) is a genuine front running pacer so being drawn on the second line is a disadvantage but he is the class runner of the field. He finished fast from midfield when he scored at Charlton in a mile of 1.57.8 then followed with an unplaced run in the Holloway Classic. MY ULTIMATE LUIGI (11) is racing in fine form and looms as one of the leading chances again. He sustained a strong run to win at Bendigo then attempted to lead throughout and was beaten on the line at Ballarat. GALLICO (7) is a consistent pacer, which has been placed in eight of his past nine starts. He commenced from the second line, progressed forward to find the lead and battled on well for third at Wedderburn last outing. JILLIBY UTAH (3) is a possible improver from his good draw and is worth thought along with FIRESIDE (5) and DAUGHTER OFDARKNES (9).
