RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: PRINCESS ARNA (3) is a fast beginner and is likely to be in front for a long way under these conditions. She attempted to lead throughout when second behind Taste It at Kilmore and Taste It won again since at Bendigo so the form reference is strong. WINGATE GUY (10) was checked coming up to the bell lap and lost approximately twenty metres so he had little luck when fourth (17m) at Shepparton. He was able to grind out a victory at Hamilton prior and should prove hard to beat again. STAR RULER (9) has been placed in four of his past five starts and is worth an investment but he does tend to perform best when he is able to find the lead. QUICK DECISION (2) and MUSELET (8) are both capable of showing up without surprising.
