RACE COMMENT
Producing a sectionally super performance in defeat in The Great Square, AJAY VOLSTEAD (4) still beat half the field home after an error. With three weeks between runs, he loomed before being collared last start after starting deep in the red. Tightened from that effort, he can capitalise here. MASTERLY (2) has faced the starter twice since being freshened, the latest when shuffled to three back in the line under mobile conditions, making a late raid to be 7m from the winner. Only 6m astern when fresh up as VAN SANK ended a drought, he finds the conditions to throw down a challenge. GET USED TO IT (8) is chasing a hat-trick of victories after successive wins from behind the start car. Finishing just 2m from TAYLAD TO USE in the DJA Final three starts back, he has been untroubled in successive dictating victories and can feature here. LOVE GUN (9) has been runner-up at his past two starts, the latest when sitting parked and grinding it out to be 4m from GET USED TO IT. Only beaten a head the start prior, he is right in the fight.
