RACE COMMENT
PRECISE (9) is a lightly-raced but progressive mare who was impressive when resuming at Goulburn, working to the front before cruising home by more than 17m. Cops a wide draw but will strip fitter and could be bound for better things. IDEAL IN DREAMS (4) has had wider draws of late but came from this barrier when she scored a win in a higher-graded race at this circuit and distance back in November. JOANS RISING STAR (5) had to work hard when midfield as favourite last start but led from a similar draw to this when scoring at Bathurst prior so can bounce back. DESTINY STRIDE (6) looks close to a win having placed in her last two outings at Penrith, the latest from the second line. CHARLIES ACE (1) could be competitive from the ace draw.
