RACE COMMENT

TEQUILA EN ICE (5) is first up from a spell in this race. He trialled quite well behind Paddys Diamond and should have derived plenty of benefit from that outing. He draws wide but should be thereabouts on return.  ESTER JEAN (8) she appeared to be travelling well throughout before hitting the line well. She is likely building towards peak fitness and with a soft trailing draw in this race can be running on well late.  KEEPING IT SIMPLE (7) didn’t have the best luck last start and I thought hit the line quite well late. Is likely to need similar luck from another awkward draw in this race but if that luck comes should be running on well again. PRIORITY BETTING (2) has not shown much in the way of form since landing back in QLD. He was slightly better than he had been in runs prior last start and does meet a weak race but will need to go better than he has been to be winning despite the moderate field.
