RACE COMMENT
With the early options as the lone second line runner, POST PAINTER (8) will likely be moving off the inside at the earliest chance. Sent forward from gate 4 last start, she was able to overcome a tough trip and pull clear late to a 5m margin in a career PB. Runner-up in successive starts when resuming, she can go back-to-back. LIEUTENANT ARDEN (2) is second up for the new stable following a last start last when settling rearward from a second line gate as POST PAINTER proved too slippery. Not far away at his last start at Menangle before heading North, he can be sharper from the improved gate in this. EXCLUSIVE HUSTLER (5) was a winner three starts back when darting out early to take control and take them all the way. Inside second line gates his past two have not helped and from the middle of the line he can feature. ROCK SUPREME (4) has been hitting some good areas in recent weeks, lining up here with two wins and two minors from his past five. Under 5m from the winner AMAMI last start, he has claims.
