RACE COMMENT
A wide gate will make the task that little bit tougher for BUDDY PERFECT (6) but he finds the right opposition to overcome the impediment. A winner from this same gate just two runs back when pressing forward, he can look to get close to the action and chase another W. ART JESTER (10) was able to post just the solitary win in 2025 despite some strong sectional performances that he was unable to convert. Changing barns to join the newly relocated Finnis team, he steps out after a sound effort when not too far away last time. He can challenge. MERRY JEWEL (2) was snagged off the arm from a wide gate at Redcliffe last start and then never a factor. Asked to work the start prior, an improved gate can assist her chances here.
