RACE COMMENT

WICKED WHISKY (5) was forced to face the breeze two starts ago and battled on strongly there to finish second behind Paris Rouge beating home subsequent winner Miss Bluetrump. He may look to press forward in this race and if he can find the front he will be hard to run down. HYPNOTIZE ME (6) could be the most interesting runner of the week in QLD starting for the first time as a pacer having won two races as a trotter earlier in the year. Given he is out of a mare that has only produced trotters and is out of a trotting stallion Sebastian K he has seemingly defied the odds to step out as a pacer. He trialled up impressively in a recent trial when buried away on the pegs before powering through the line late.  MIGHTY IDEAL (1) took on a small field last start and was well beaten there. He looks unlikely to be able to match it with the top two in this race but from an ideal draw he has strong claims for the minor money.  BOSTON FIRE (2) with no back row in this race he should get a soft run on the pegs and has run well previously at this track with a similar run. Despite his numerical form he should be thereabouts the placings.
