RACE COMMENT
Maidens are always hard to assess, and this is no different with most having had many chances in their career. SHEZALLLOLLIES (2) was a big improver when leading 2 starts back in Launceston, and looks like finding the pegs here. She trialled good earlier this week and should have every hope to break through. MONTGOMERY LOMBO (4) is the one with most scope to improve having only had 2 starts, where he was a nice 3rd on debut before a disappointing effort 6 days later. Back to 3 weeks between runs here and would expect him to go well. TASSIE DAZZLER (7) has had 43 attempts without winning, but his last start 2nd and a nice trailing draws give him a chance again.
