OVERVIEW: HUXHAM CHUBB (2) enjoyed a drop back in class from the Super Series and the Breeders Crown when she worked to the front shortly after the start and scored in a mile of 1.55.3 at Geelong last outing. She is perfectly drawn and will prove hard to beat again. TOO THE MAX (4) possesses early speed and looms as the logical threat. He attempted to lead throughout when a narrow second at Stawell then followed with a third at Melton in a mile rate of 1.55.8. EARS THE BOSS (8) has an awkward trailing draw but he performed well when second behind Olivia Rose at Melton last outing so he is not without a chance.
