RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: NICE ONE CENTURION (6) made it through to the Super Series Final won by Miki To Success so he will appreciate a massive drop back in class for this assignment. He is versatile and is suited to competing over the sprint distance so a bold showing is expected. ROCKNROLL ROCKET (5) settled in the second half of the field and couldn’t work into the race when unplaced at Kilmore last week ($4-00 fav). He moves to the front line now and was impressive at the trials prior so he is worth another chance. POPCORNFRIDAY (9) held the lead from the pole position and copped plenty of pressure in the early stages of the event when a brave second to McWizard in a slick mile rate of 1.54.9 last week. He should be reaching his peak form after having two starts back from a spell and is worth an investment. LAMBRO MACH (10) has had a few chances recently but he is a class horse when racing at his peak.
