RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: CHARLIES TACTICS (8) has done well in two starts to date and should continue to improve with the benefit of experience. He worked hard early before taking cover when second behind Courage’s Law at Maryborough last outing and he is capable of going one better now. THE CHOOK (7) is a speedy mare, which led out then took cover and finished third behind Buslin Brody last outing. She missed out narrowly at Maryborough prior and should go well again. STATELY SALOME (10) has galloped at her two starts since a long spell but she was performing well and was competitive each time she made an error so she has the ability to test this field. BAR TAB (12) competed in a strong heat of the Breeders Crown when resuming and will find this race to be easier.
