RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: ALWAYS ON SAFARI (2) finished off well for third in what was a leader dominated race at Charlton last week. He is a strong type and has been placed seven times for the season so he will take catching if he is able to find the lead. ELCHEAPO CLAIRE (1) never appeared to be travelling well but she picked up late and worked home for third behind Daughter Ofdarkness at Shepparton. She is much better drawn for this assignment and must be considered as a winning chance. JACQUELYN JOY (9) is a former New South Wales pacer, which finished off well for fifth in the same race won by Daughter Ofdarkness last week. She should be fitter from that run and is worth a ticket each way. MISS JOPLIN (4) came out three horses wide from midfield at the 600m and battled on fairly well for fourth at Shepparton last outing.
