  OVERVIEW: CAPTAIN PERFECT (10) is a strong staying type but was still able to show enough zip to win in a slowly run heat at Melton last week. He is likely to make an early move and will be hard to toss. ITS CONFIDENTIAL (4) finished off strongly to claim victory in the Super Series Final and he was also placed in the Victoria Derby so a bold showing is expected. He was shuffled back on the markers and held his own in a sizzling final quarter of 26.9 seconds last week. MAC BON (12) is the defending Breeders Crown champion and lost no admirers at his heat victory last week, where he worked forward to find the lead and was comfortable at the finish. The draw is a big disadvantage but he must be respected. SOHO THE REAL DEAL (2) was placed after leading out then taking cover last week.
