RACE COMMENT
OUR WILLOW (4) was a fast-finishing second two starts back before finishing fourth to the smart Smooth Reason in a heat of the Bandbox at Launceston last Sunday. She led up the one wide line for most of the last lap and only tired late in a fast last half. Back to maiden grade tonight, I think she looks hard to beat. HES FIRST CLASS (1) didn’t see daylight at all last start when finishing an unlucky fourth to Sues Passion. He may require some luck again from the draw tonight, but if he gets even luck, he should be in the finish. JUST LIKA DREAM (3) resumed at Launceston last Sunday and finished runner-up in the race won by Sues Passion. She should be improved for the outing and looks to be one of the main chances. MARV DREAMING (6) hasn’t been seen at the races since March.
