RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: ROBERT CROCKA (4) is a brilliant beginner and a short course specialist so he gets his chance to break through under these conditions. He settled four back on the markers, angled out wide on the track at the quarter pole and finished off reasonably well for a creditable fifth at Mildura on Friday. STONEBRIDGE STAR (9) settled on the markers, worked into the clear approaching the home turn and finished off fast for a big win at Leeton. He did pick up ground despite finishing sixth last week and he should be finishing off nicely again. CAMNAT (8) has been unplaced at her past four starts but she was a strong winner against similar grade on September 12 so she is worth another chance. EGBERT (7) is very awkwardly drawn on the inside of the second line but he is one of the leading chances.
