RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: CAPTAIN JAZZ (9) is a juvenile filly taking on older and much more experienced horses but she is very smart and must be respected. She was a runaway winner of a heat of the Bathurst Gold Tiara and hasn’t started since finishing unplaced in the Final at Group 1 level. THEROCKGOD (6) possesses a powerful finishing burst and should go well against this line up. He came from last and finished strongly out wide on the track when a game fourth at his latest attempt. SUPERSEDE (2) was making his debut for trainer Wayne Potter when he finished fifth last week after he was held up for a run at a vital stage and finished off nicely via the sprint lane. He should have improved by that outing and is worth a ticket each way. ANIMADO (8) has struck peak form and finished off well via the sprint lane last week so he cannot be left out of calculations.
