RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: WICKED WIZARD (1) has several fast beginners drawn on his outside but he will take beating if he can hold a forward position at the start. He led throughout and scored comfortably in a mile rate of 1.56.5 last week after a strong second behind the in-form pacer The Postmaster. HEZA CASANOVA (7) won at Menangle in a mile of 1.54.0 last outing and is overall form in New South Wales has been strong. He is a juvenile pacer taking on older horses but he appears to have a promising future. SHARP INTEREST (9) was very unlucky last week and is worth another chance. He galloped at the start, settled a clear last and went to the line jogging with no clear run at the finish. The fast beginners INTERPRETATION (3) and MADAM REACTOR (4) both have claims while ATOMIC BLACK (10) should be hitting the line strongly.
