OVERVIEW: LET IT BE ME (6) is resuming since a tenth in the Super Series Final back in September 2024 but he has performed well at the trials and has the class to test this field. CHAMPAGNE CHARLEY (8) faces the tough handicap of 50m but he was very impressive in winning at Bendigo last week when resuming since June. He is a good beginner and boasts a strong standing start record so he is worth thought again. BENNIE AND THE JETS (7) won a standing start race at Shepparton prior to heading to South Australia for a shot at the Trotting Cup but failed to qualify for the Final after breaking stride in his heat. He has winning claims if he can step away safely. KENNYWOULD (5) is a former New South Wales trained trotter, which joins trainer Brent Lilley and must be kept safe.
