RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: THUNDERFIRE (6) produced a strong performance to win in a mile rate of 1.56.3 at Shepparton at his debut then endured a tough run on the outside of the leader when a close second in 1.53.3 at Wagga. He is widely drawn but appears to be very promising and will prove hard to beat again. THE POSTMASTER (5) produced clearly a career best performance when he led throughout and bolted away in a mile rate of 1.54.2 at Shepparton last outing. He is stepping up in distance but a repeat performance will see him take catching again. UNCLE TREV (4) led out then took cover and missed out narrowly for second behind Sharp Interest at Shepparton last week. He is a good chance of finding the back of the leader again so he is worth an investment.
