RACE COMMENT
HAMMER SON (3) looks a clear standout on class in this race and appears quite favourably handicapped coming off just 10 metres in this race. His latest stand start he was seventh behind Sheza Chance who has been in excellent form in recent starts. If he can step away safely and find the leader he would become the one to beat.  SUPER SERVICE (2) can begin quickly from the stand start and may be suited racing around Marburg if he can find a forward position in the race. He worked hard two runs ago early setting a strong tempo before fading late in a race taken out by Call Me Trouble.  DARCYS FIREBALL (4) took on the pacers last start and performed fairly there when finishing midfield. He was forced to sit without cover two starts ago at Albion Park and battled away well to finish sixth in what was a solid time for the trotters. If he can find a position up on speed he should be hard to beat. LOCHINVAR SON (1) is a newcomer to the stable of Tim Gillespie and is having his first start in QLD in this race. He brings solid Victorian form into this race and with a safe getaway can look to make the most of the handicap advantage in this race.
