RACE COMMENT
The right set up might have finally presented for the veteran OYSTER STRIDE (1) to grab another victory. Setting the tempo from this gate over this trip last start, he was collared in the latter stages to miss the money when 7m from the winner. With limited pressure, he can see them off. ROYAL PRINCESS (2) has good speed off the arm and can look to fire some early bullets. Unplaced in five runs back from a spell, this looks an open contest and positioning cheaply can see her throw down the challenge. KONNYMARA (6) was a winner over the mile three runs back when sent forward to take control and fend them off. Fading after a tough trip at the next start, he can be chiming in here. CANDYKANE (7) is given no favours from the car park but was working home in good order last start from this same gate to grab the bronze. A similar effort can produce another minor.
