RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: HIGH FLUX (8) sustained a long run when a big winner at Shepparton two starts ago then followed with a seventh at Metropolitan level, where he was very wide on the home turn. He appears to be well graded in this event and he will take beating. WITH IN REASON (2) is a fast beginner and is likely to find the lead shortly after the start. He led out then took cover when third at Echuca three starts ago so he is worth an investment. LOYOLA SPIAGGIA (5) delivered a career best performance when he led throughout to score at Swan Hill in a mile rate of 1.55.3 last week. He is not as well drawn for this assignment but is sure to be strongly fancied.
