RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: SON OF A BROAD (6) makes his debut for trainer Russell Jack and impressed with a trial victory at Cobram last week, where he sprinted sharply in the latter stages. He is poorly drawn but is worth a ticket each way. SEA HAWKE (10) has won five of his past seven starts and looms as one of the leading chances again. He circled around the field to race without cover when he scored in a slick mile rate of 1.56.6 at Cranbourne last outing. ROAM (2) is a speedy mare and is better than her form reads. She did perform below expectations when unplaced at Wagga last outing but this race is easier. CRESCO THREEPEAT (8) is racing well enough to feature prominently and has claims along with LORIMERMAJOR (1) and TOPHUT JOHNY (7). EARLY SPEED: 2 (likely leader), 1,5 RATINGS: 6,10/ 2/ 1,7,8
