RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: SWISS LIGHTNING (4) has won two of his past four starts and he produced a big finish to run down Grinning Beach Boy in a mile rate of 1.58.8 at Terang last outing. This race is no harder and he should prove tough to beat again. TASTE IT (1) is a fast beginner and led throughout at a Ballarat victory on August 07 so he is worth thought from the pole position. He was run down after setting the speed when fifth at Bendigo on Wednesday. MALAVA MISS (5) has done a bit of travelling recently with several efforts in Tasmania followed by a victory at Albury when making her debut for trainer Rebecca Bartley.
