RACE COMMENT

OVERVIEW: BULLAPARK BENO (7) continues to build on his consistent record and should run his usual honest race. He scored over Amour Maternal three starts ago and he was doing his best work at the end when third behind Mac Flick last week. ALDEBARAN SUE (5) is a 3yo filly that has only had two starts and is taking on older and more experienced rivals but she appears to have the ability to progress. She hasn’t started since finishing fourth in the New South Wales Oaks in May but she has won two trials recently. THE DARK THUNDER (8) is awkwardly drawn but his two runs back from a break have been sound and he should be competitive if he gains normal luck in running. He scored impressively first up then battled on well after enduring a tough run last time out. JUST ABIT DUSTY (9) is stepping up in class but produced a big performance to win after galloping early at Ballarat on Thursday so he cannot be underestimated.
