RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: PRINCESS ARNA (2) worked hard to find the lead and ran along at a genuine tempo when she scored at Echuca then took on much stronger opposition when ninth behind the subsequent Youthful Stakes winner in Usyk last outing. She should be prominent throughout from her good draw. WRITTEN IN SILK (9) will appreciate a drop back in class for this assignment and should go well. She trailed the leader and used the sprint lane when she defeated Precious Belle (won since) on August 01 and she had little luck after being caught wide early at Bendigo last outing. IAMAWINGATE (11) used energy from the extreme draw to find a forward position early then took cover when he won nicely at Shepparton last outing. He is poorly drawn but has the speed to be in the finish. A LOT LIKE PENDLES (5) is worth thought along with WHERES WOOD WOOD (3) and TEX GOES BANG (11).
