RACE COMMENT
A two-time winner in New Zealand, RAKASANDY (5) crossed the Tasman to join the Turpin stable and arrives as last start winner at Winton. Scoring over the 2400 metre trip on that occasion, he produced a tidy trial on this deck and can look to open the account in style. ITS A PLEASURE (7) faced an inside second line gate last start and despite being buried in the run, had the closing speed to charge through for the prize. All three starts since arriving from the Shaky Isles have been from inside the second line, with the outside front making a tough ask. HUNGER STRIKE (4) ships in for Ricke Alchin and arrives with a last start victory at Penrith when taking them all the way at the sprint trip. A two-time winner here previously, she can feature.
