RACE COMMENT
Attacking the line strongly at his first Qld appearance, CHEZZ DALE (1) was only 2m from the winner RISK TAKER. Charging across from gate 7 to set the tempo last start, he held them off in a slick PB with 6m to spare on the wire. From the gate, he snares all the options to capitalise. ROYAL SPEECH (9) was a winner over the 2138 here two starts back when powering over the top in the closing stages to take the W. Eased from gate 6 last start, he was wide and strong to the line behind BETTERTHANAROCKET and with the right trail through early, can challenge here. BETTERTHANAROCKET (6) was asked to roll the sleeves last start outside the leader where he was just 4m away on the line after the tough run. With the right trip, he can bounce back. HE AINT FAKIN (7) eased into the running line last time out and was goo to the line for the bronze. Taking benefit from the run, he is not helped by the ODM embargo.
