RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: RINGER WELLS (4) began quickly and was without cover early before gaining a trail but he broke stride at the 600m mark and lost his chance ($2-25 fav) at Geelong last outing. He defeated a stronger field at Bendigo three starts ago and should prove hard to beat again if he delivers a fool proof display. FLOATING MOUNTAIN (1) performed very well at the trials prior to a second behind Beautiful Sunrise at Melton last week, where he tried to sustain a long run from the 600m. He is ideally drawn for this assignment and should be competitive again. TE AMO (3) is resuming but he was competing against better opposition when he was last in work and he will be fitter after two recent trial efforts, which have yielded a win and a fourth. MANDA KYVALLEY (6) possesses early speed and is building up a consistent record. She endured a tough run when fourth behind Sista Evarista at Bendigo last outing and was a winner at Maryborough in February. EARLY SPEED: 4 (possible leader), 1,6 RATINGS: 4/ 1/ 3,6,9/ 5,8
