RACE COMMENT
WAR CLUB (1) has good gate speed. Generally seems to go best with something to follow but over the 947 distance he may try his luck out in front. Has been racing very well. B MAC C (2) could secure a really good run in the race close to the speed. He has always been a fast horse and could be suited to this format. BLACKJACK CRIPPA (3) is one of the class runners in the race and resumes here. He may be forced to do the work if he can get across in the early stages but certainly has the ability to still figure in the finish. CYCLONE TONY (5) led last start and appeared to over race badly which contributed to him fading late into a midfield finish. Draws wide but may be suited to the short course.
