RACE COMMENT
HATTIES JEWEL (3) has very good gate speed and was impressive when leading and being beaten by Kyloan Queen two runs ago who has the perfect run on her back. She had no luck last start when caught wider and forced to the rear of the field before making up solid ground late. THE TIGER ARMY (6) was a very impressive second two start ago in a really sharp last half at Albion Park. Last start he was left without cover outside Megs Boy who was a dominant winner and ran strong time. The wide draw means he may need to work again in this race. YANKEE C J (10) swept into the race strongly last start and was just run down late by Little Hoofananny. Draws a wide gate in this race and faces a back row draw which could make things difficult but he is racing well.
