RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: SOVEREIGN TIGER (6) has improved with every run this preparation and is ready to break through for a win. He chased hard when a close second behind the handy performer Promise Dream at Cranbourne last outing. LADY IN THE SKY (5) continues to race in great form and has the early speed to be prominent throughout. She led out then took cover when she scored at Bendigo two starts ago then finished off reasonably well for third behind Countess Chiron last time out. ROCKY VALLEY (2) is a fast beginner and performs best when he is able to lead. He showed a glimpse of his best form when a strong third at Melton last outing and gets his chance to break through under these conditions. QUAKE PROOF (3) has been lightly raced recently but he has performed well at a higher level than this event previously and he does boast a very good record on the track.
