RACE COMMENT
Overcoming this same gate last start, WISPER A SECRET (8) sat coiled and worked to the outside at the 400 before exploding away to claim an 11m margin. Gate 7 was his undoing in both prior starts against tempo and with the second line options, he should be too slippery. CLASSIE WASHINGTON (3) has now had two runs back from a spell where he has drawn gate 4 on each occasion. Eased off the arm last start, he ran on over the closing stages for the bronze last time behind WISPER A SECRET. With added fitness he can get handy to challenge. BRAEDOS LAD (4) was runner-up here two starts back when best of the rest behind WISPER A SECRET. Only 2m off the winner last start after parking out, he can feature again here. COLLECT A DIME (2) was only 6m away last start and never saw clear space. Running up behind the minor placings the start prior, he can get handy here and has podium claims at big odds.
