RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: GATESYS GEM (6) is an outstanding filly that has been performing extremely well at the trials. She won the Tatlow Stakes and was runner up in the Redwood Classic and the Breeders Crown during her juvenile term so she will prove extremely hard to beat. JILLIBY BALLERINI (4) was runner up in the Victoria Oaks and the Breeders Crown last season and was third in the Need For Speed Princess so she is a quality mare. She will be fitter after a recent Terang trial fourth and should make her presence felt. MCGEE (1) is working back to his best form and possesses early speed so he should go well from the pole position over the sprint distance.
