Safely away to find the front in the early stages here last week, LIEUTUENANT LOU (7) made an error at the 1200 but was able to reset and drop back in behind the leader. With too much closing power to score, he will benefit from the run and look to go back-to-back. NEED NOT TO WARRY (1) was buried away in the run here last week and when finding open road, was closing it out in nice style to grab the bronze. With the experience from the first up effort, he snares the right alley to issue a challenge. OUR SWEET JESS (2) is a Sweet Lou filly on debut for Dayl March that has put together some tidy trials in readiness for her first race outing. The good alley will help her chances. WHYKIKAMOOCOW (4) should appreciate taking on his own age for the first time after two Redcliffe starts against older horses.
