Race comment
OVERVIEW: It is another very strong field with several different form lines so luck in running might be the key to the result. LITTLE LOUIE (4) is stepping up from aged races (3yo’s) from last season into this Metropolitan event but he is a tough competitor, which should give a forward showing. He was placed behind Perfect Class in the Breeders Crown in November and his latest third was in a slashing mile rate of 1.52.8. JACCKA CONNOR (6) and ALL DA RAGE (11) are both dropping back from the Country Cup class and are capable of showing up without surprising. NIKI NAH NAH (9) is racing in career best form having had five wins in succession prior to a fast finishing second behind Jilliby Willow last week. She should prove hard to hold out in the run to the finish. DALVEY ROBYN (8) and NORMS LADY (10) are both racing well enough to figure in the finish. MAJOR THINKER (2) and GLENLEDI ELVIS (7) have been in winning form in New South Wales so they cannot be dismissed. EARLY SPEED: 2 (possible leader), 4,6,7 RATINGS: 4/ 6,9/ 2,6,8,11/ 7/ field
