OVERVIEW: JEREMY LOU (1) has also been very impressive at the trials and appears to be a nice type. He had little luck early but dashed home in a sizzling final quarter of 27.4 seconds when he went to the line under a hard hold at his latest trial victory so he is worth following. CHAMPAGNE STRIDE (3) has won at her past two trial performances, the latest being a very impressive victory at Melton, where she sprinted sharply from last of the three runners and recorded a mile rate of 1.58.4 beating her stable mate AMAZING STRIDE (2), which set the speed. She obviously has ability and is capable of taking out the first juvenile race of the season. AMAZING STRIDE (2) has been beaten by CHAMPAGNE STRIDE (3) at her two trial performances but she has the ability to fill a place. MOMENTUM SWING (5) is by the first season sire Vincent and went to the line under a strong hold when third at an Echuca trial performance. LAVADA GOLD (6) began brilliantly to lead and recorded a mile rate of 2.2.3 when he easily won a trial at Bendigo recently. IMSOGOOD (4) was runner up at his only trial effort at Ararat when he was competing against older horses. EARLY SPEED: 6 (possible leader), 1,2,3 RATINGS: 1,3/ 2/ 5,6/ 4
