OVERVIEW: What do we make of BLUE CHIP DELIGHT (9)? Last weekend Russell Jack’s recent recruit resumed at red-figure odds and comfortably led before fading into a bronze-medal finish. In his favour tonight is an easier list of rivals and the race fitness he’ll have gained from heading back to the races. Against him is the second row draw. Ultimately, BLUE CHIP DELIGHT (9) remains the class animal engaged and warrant top billing with a few of our metro maiden faves among his major dangers. They are, STINGRAY TARA (10) who’s been crying out to win one of these forever, DOT THE EYE (11) who is a much better horse than the one we watched last weekend, and FOOLISH PLEASURE (12) who is also racing really well without a stack of luck. In his favour tonight is an easier list of rivals and the race fitness he’ll have gained from heading back to the races. Against him is the second row draw. Ultimately, BLUE CHIP DELIGHT (9) remains the class animal engaged and warrant top billing with a few of our metro maiden faves among his major dangers. They are, STINGRAY TARA (10) who’s been crying out to win one of these forever, DOT THE EYE (11) who is a much better horse than the one we watched last weekend, and FOOLISH PLEASURE (12) who is also racing really well without a stack of luck.
