OVERVIEW: JUST A PHILTRA (5) was resuming since April when she settled midfield and had little luck in the straight for sixth (3.5m) behind Cheddar Valley at Shepparton. She should strip fitter from that run and must be considered as a winning chance. JOEYS HANGOVER (1) was eighth on the outside at the bell, came out three horses wide from the 700m and sustained a long run to win nicely at Shepparton. This is a rise in class but he is drawn to run another big race. VILLAGE ENCOUNTER (6) began fast to work to the lead, took cover and finished fifth (2m) behind Cheddar Valley at Shepparton last week. That was her best effort in three starts back from a break and she should run a forward race over the sprint distance. CLARENDEN ENVOY (7) was caught wide early and got restrained to a rearward position so he had little luck when tenth behind Ultimate Me at Cranbourne. He performed well at his two placed efforts prior and is worth another chance. INAUGURATE (2) and SNAZOLA (3) could both show improvement from their good draw. OVERVIEW: JUST A PHILTRA (5) was resuming since April when she settled midfield and had little luck in the straight for sixth (3.5m) behind Cheddar Valley at Shepparton. She should strip fitter from that run and must be considered as a winning chance. JOEYS HANGOVER (1) was eighth on the outside at the bell, came out three horses wide from the 700m and sustained a long run to win nicely at Shepparton. This is a rise in class but he is drawn to run another big race. VILLAGE ENCOUNTER (6) began fast to work to the lead, took cover and finished fifth (2m) behind Cheddar Valley at Shepparton last week. That was her best effort in three starts back from a break and she should run a forward race over the sprint distance. CLARENDEN ENVOY (7) was caught wide early and got restrained to a rearward position so he had little luck when tenth behind Ultimate Me at Cranbourne. He performed well at his two placed efforts prior and is worth another chance. INAUGURATE (2) and SNAZOLA (3) could both show improvement from their good draw. OVERVIEW: JUST A PHILTRA (5) was resuming since April when she settled midfield and had little luck in the straight for sixth (3.5m) behind Cheddar Valley at Shepparton. She should strip fitter from that run and must be considered as a winning chance. JOEYS HANGOVER (1) was eighth on the outside at the bell, came out three horses wide from the 700m and sustained a long run to win nicely at Shepparton. This is a rise in class but he is drawn to run another big race. VILLAGE ENCOUNTER (6) began fast to work to the lead, took cover and finished fifth (2m) behind Cheddar Valley at Shepparton last week. That was her best effort in three starts back from a break and she should run a forward race over the sprint distance. CLARENDEN ENVOY (7) was caught wide early and got restrained to a rearward position so he had little luck when tenth behind Ultimate Me at Cranbourne. He performed well at his two placed efforts prior and is worth another chance. INAUGURATE (2) and SNAZOLA (3) could both show improvement from their good draw.
