OVERVIEW: BALENCIAGO (7) is rising in class but has returned from a break in fabulous form and should prove hard to beat again. He led throughout and scored in a mile rate of 1.57.3 at Melton last outing. MOONLITE DRIVE (9) settled last of the seven runners and was out five horses wide on the home turn when he charged home to win in a slick mile rate of 1.55.4 at Melton on July 23. He has returned from a spell in peak form and is one of the leading chances again. CALF PEN (2) was slow out from the pole position and was shuffled back on the markers when fifth at Bendigo last week. He was finding the line strongly once he gained a clear passage so he can improve on his numerical form. FLYING ART (3) is racing better than his form suggests and is capable of mixing it with this class. MANTHADEE (8) races best when she is close to the lead so she is drawn against her usual racing pattern but she is worth thought along with HURRICANE HALL (10). He led throughout and scored in a mile rate of 1.57.3 at Melton last outing. MOONLITE DRIVE (9) settled last of the seven runners and was out five horses wide on the home turn when he charged home to win in a slick mile rate of 1.55.4 at Melton on July 23. He has returned from a spell in peak form and is one of the leading chances again. CALF PEN (2) was slow out from the pole position and was shuffled back on the markers when fifth at Bendigo last week. He was finding the line strongly once he gained a clear passage so he can improve on his numerical form. FLYING ART (3) is racing better than his form suggests and is capable of mixing it with this class. OVERVIEW: BALENCIAGO (7) is rising in class but has returned from a break in fabulous form and should prove hard to beat again. He led throughout and scored in a mile rate of 1.57.3 at Melton last outing. MOONLITE DRIVE (9) settled last of the seven runners and was out five horses wide on the home turn when he charged home to win in a slick mile rate of 1.55.4 at Melton on July 23. He has returned from a spell in peak form and is one of the leading chances again. CALF PEN (2) was slow out from the pole position and was shuffled back on the markers when fifth at Bendigo last week. He was finding the line strongly once he gained a clear passage so he can improve on his numerical form. FLYING ART (3) is racing better than his form suggests and is capable of mixing it with this class. MANTHADEE (8) races best when she is close to the lead so she is drawn against her usual racing pattern but she is worth thought along with HURRICANE HALL (10). EARLY SPEED: 7 (possible leader), 1,3 RATINGS: 7/ 9/ 2,3,8/ 10
