OVERVIEW: Tonight will be step one in finally unravelling the mystery of whether SANDAY (9) is a quality horse of the future or not. These metro maidens are usually competitive races but little separates the known commodities and that’s the case once more tonight. SANDAY (9) was good enough to park out in both heat and semi of the Vicbred Super Series for 3YO males late last year and was beaten an aggregate of 6.9m in both events. If we trust that form on face value he should prevail here, first-up and all. Depending on the map there are several threats if SANDAY (9) needs the run. HAYDEN BROMAC (8) heads those threats. He should end up either trailing the leader or three poles and his last few have indicated he’ll be winning one of these races sooner rather than later. Other hopes are MISS BLUE GLORY (2) who looks likely to receive a perfect trip and seems to have found herself of late and AROCKNATTHEOPERA (12) who needed the run fresh but won well last start and has speed to burn. SANDAY (9) was good enough to park out in both heat and semi of the Vicbred Super Series for 3YO males late last year and was beaten an aggregate of 6.9m in both events. If we trust that form on face value he should prevail here, first-up and all. Depending on the map there are several threats if SANDAY (9) needs the run. HAYDEN BROMAC (8) heads those threats. He should end up either trailing the leader or three poles and his last few have indicated he’ll be winning one of these races sooner rather than later. OVERVIEW: Tonight will be step one in finally unravelling the mystery of whether SANDAY (9) is a quality horse of the future or not. These metro maidens are usually competitive races but little separates the known commodities and that’s the case once more tonight. SANDAY (9) was good enough to park out in both heat and semi of the Vicbred Super Series for 3YO males late last year and was beaten an aggregate of 6.9m in both events. If we trust that form on face value he should prevail here, first-up and all. Depending on the map there are several threats if SANDAY (9) needs the run. HAYDEN BROMAC (8) heads those threats. He should end up either trailing the leader or three poles and his last few have indicated he’ll be winning one of these races sooner rather than later. Other hopes are MISS BLUE GLORY (2) who looks likely to receive a perfect trip and seems to have found herself of late and AROCKNATTHEOPERA (12) who needed the run fresh but won well last start and has speed to burn.
