STREITKID (1) is a known leader, ARDEN VOYAGER (5) only knows one way and HIGHWAY TO HEAVEN (7) thrives on front-of-the-field racing. If that theory plays out then MAJOR ASSASSIN (10) who has roared home in better grade at his past couple looks a clear benchmark runner. His major threat under the scenario we’ve just outlined is likely THE LAST CHANCE (9). It’s tough not to respect the formlines likely to emerge from the Country Clubs Championships and THE LAST CHANCE (9) had little luck in the final of that series so he’s another really dangerous late closer.
